About Me

Welcome to my travel blog! My name is Melinda (a.k.a. Mac) and I’m here to share with you some of the adventures I go on-whether they be with friends, family, or solo adventures! 

I’m a recent college grad from the University of Delaware, looking to create my place in the world. My home base is in Northern New Jersey right now, and I’m looking forwards to exploring what’s near me.

Expect to learn a lot from my misadventures as I explore probably mostly the nearby area, but ideally branching out from that as I grow. There will certainly be some good times and bad times, but overall, a ton of lessons learned and some memorable experiences gained. 

My goal with this blog is to showcase a few things: first, that not all adventures are some huge road trip or vacation to some wildly exotic place, they can be a simple day trip full of fun and general exploration. Second, that anyone can travel. If it’s something that you’re passionate about and willing to work hard for, you can do it. 

I’m also creating this blog as a record for myself-to hold myself accountable for my hopes and dreams and not just settle into the mundane.
